Loopio gives you the ability to determine how your Projects’ Compliance Answers are mapped back to your Library.
This allows you to provide Compliance Answers that match your client’s requirements, while maintaining a consistent Compliance Answer format within your own Library.
- Project, Level 2 (Creator) permissions or higher are required to create a new Project
- Library, Level 2 (Read & Write) permissions or higher are required to create or edit new Library Entries

Compliance Answers in Projects
When creating a Project, select the Compliance Answer Options you would like to have available within the Project.
You can also select how you would like these Compliance Answers to map to Compliance Answer Options that already exist in your Library. These pairings will be fed back into your Library during Close Loop.
Mapping your Project’s Compliance Answer Options to your Library is very important for ensuring the right Compliance Answers from your Library are also pulled in when using Magic and Search.
If you would like to edit the Compliance Answer Options after the Project has been created, you can do so by clicking the gear icon at the top right corner of your Project Canvas. Then, select Edit Compliance Options.
Note: Compliance Answers have a maximum length of 45 characters.
Within your Project Canvas, the Compliance Answers will appear as they have been set for the Project.
When pulling in answers from your Library using Search, you can select your Compliance Answer from a dropdown next to “Use Answer”.
If you are Searching your Library from a Standard-type Project, and a Library Entry answer you’d like to pull in contains a Compliance Answer, you have the option to prepend the Compliance Answer.
The Compliance Answer will then appear in your text box.
When running Magic in a Compliance-type Project, the Library Entry’s Compliance Answer will be pulled in. It will automatically appear as the Compliance Answer that it is mapped to in your Project.
By default, if Magic is run in a Standard-type Project and a Library Entry contains a Compliance Answer, the Compliance portion of the Entry will not be pulled in.
You can choose to prepend the Compliance Answer to your Entries in a Standard-type Project by selecting "Prepend Compliance Answer" in Magic's Advanced Settings.
