The Loopio Chrome Extension is an extension for the Chrome Browser that allows you to create Projects in Loopio from an RFP, Security Questionnaire, or other sales questionnaires in a portal. You can then respond to the RFP normally within Loopio, and use the extension to transfer your answers to the portal.

Creating a New Project Using the Chrome Extension
Any project you create using the Chrome Extension is instantly created in Loopio.
- Click the Loopio icon in the top right corner of your Chrome browser window
- Select the Projects tab in the Extension
- In the Loopio Project dropdown, select Create New Project
- Enter your Project Details and click Create to create the Project in Loopio
Importing Project Requirements Using the Chrome Extension
As you are using the Extension to create the project structure, all of the content is added to Loopio in real-time.
- Navigate to the portal page containing the Project requirements
- Click the Loopio icon in the top right corner of your Chrome browser window
- Select the name of the Project you want to work on
Note: The Chrome Extension will only display Projects you are a participant of, even as a Loopio Administrator.
- Click on the first Section title you would like to import into Loopio. The Section title will become highlighted, and a selection type popup will appear above
Double-click to select a single word
Triple-click to select a full line or paragraph of text
Click and drag to define your own selection - Select Section. The Section title will now appear in the Chrome Extension, and within your Project in Loopio
- Identify remaining Sections, Sub-Sections, and Questions by selecting text and choosing the selection type
- Once you’re ready to start assigning and answering Questions, you can use Loopio as you normally do to run Magic, assign Entries, search the Library and collaborate on Answers
Exporting Project Requirements Using the Chrome Extension
Once your Project is completed in Loopio, you will be able to see the Answers in the Chrome Extension.
Tip: Refresh the portal page and reload the Chrome Extension to ensure you see the most up to date version of your Project in the Extension.
- Navigate to the portal page containing the Project requirements
- Click the Loopio icon in the top right corner of your Chrome browser window
- Select the name of the Project you want to work on in the Loopio Project dropdown
- Navigate to the first Question on the portal page
Tip: Use Ctrl+F (PC) or Cmd+F (Mac) to find the Question on the portal page.
- On the Chrome Extension, select the options icon (3 dots) beside the Question, and select Copy Answer Text
- Paste the Answer Text into the portal page
Chrome Extension Tips
Want to View, Edit or Delete a Section, Sub-Section, or Question?
Hover over the Section, Sub-Section, or Question and select the options icon (3 dots)
This menu will display the available options:
- Edit - available for Sections, Sub-Sections, and unassigned and unanswered Questions
- View - available for assigned or answered Questions
- Delete
Selecting Edit for a Section or Sub-Section will allow you to edit the Section or Sub-Section title
Selecting Edit for an unassigned, unanswered Question will allow you to edit the Question text, or enter an Answer
If a Question has already been assigned or answered in Loopio, the Answer cannot be edited in the Chrome Extension. You will see the option to View the Answer in the Chrome Extension, and a link to view the Entry in your Loopio Project
Note: All content copied and/or pasted from the chrome extension will NOT be formatted when pasted. Specifically, content in the LE that is in bullet, number or table format will paste over in plain text and not in their original format
Tip: Click and drag the bottom right corner of the Answer field to resize
Want to Change the Order of Sections, Sub-Sections, or Questions?
- To reorder any Section, drag-and-drop to a new location in the Chrome Extension
- To reorder Subsections within the same Section, drag-and-drop to a new location. Subsections cannot be moved to a different Section
- To reorder Questions within the same Section or Subsection, drag-and-drop to a new location
