How Do I Get the Loopio Integration for Slack?

What is the Integration for Slack?

Our Integration for Slack makes it easy for you and your team to stay on top of tasks in Loopio, and access and share the knowledge held in your Library.

The Integration for Slack allows members of Loopio to receive Notifications about Project Assignments, Comments and Nudges as a direct message in Slack. Plus, you can access the Loopio Library by typing "/loopio search" with a search term in Slack channels and direct messages.

Where Can I Get the Integration for Slack?

The Loopio Integration for Slack is available on the Admin page in Loopio, and requires a short setup process within your Loopio account.

Setting Up the Integration for Slack

With the Loopio Integration for Slack, you can connect all your company’s workspaces to your Loopio account. The first connected workspace a User belongs to will become their default workspace, or where they will receive Project notifications.

 

Permissions Required: General Administration, Level 1 (Manager) permissions are required to connect the Integration for Slack.

To Connect Your First Slack Workspace:

  1. Click Admin in your top navigation bar
  2. Click Integrations
  3. Click Connect in the Slack section of the Integrations page

  4. This will redirect you to a Slack page. If you are not signed in to Slack, enter your workspace URL and sign in to continue

  5. On the Slack permissions screen, click Allow

Note: If your Organization has additional app approval requirements in Slack, you may see a Request to Install screen instead:

An App Manager in your Slack workspace will be notified with a request to approve the app.

You are now successfully connected! The Integrations page will show the name of the connected workspace, the name of the person who connected the Integration for Slack within Loopio, and the date the workspace was connected

To Connect an Additional Slack Workspace:

  1. Click Admin in your top navigation bar
  2. Click Integrations
  3. Click + Add another workspace in the Slack section of the Integrations page

  4. This will redirect you to a Slack page. If you are not signed in to Slack, enter your workspace URL and sign in to continue
