Installing the Loopio App in Salesforce
- The Salesforce permission Download AppExchange Packages is required to install packages
Connecting the Loopio API Connector with Salesforce
The following permissions and access are required for the Salesforce user designated as the service user to connect with Loopio. Choose one of the following options to assign the required permissions.
Option 1: Package-Provided Permission Sets
Permission Sets:
- Loopio Connector Admin (Loopio_Connector_Admin__c) for the admin
- Loopio Connector User (Loopio_Connector_User__c) for the user
Option 2: Custom Permission Set
If you prefer not to assign any of the package-provided permission sets, you can create a custom permission set that includes the following permissions.
Object Settings (Read, Create, Edit, Delete permissions for below objects and their fields (Read & Edit)

Additional Required Permissions
- Read-only access is required for the Opportunity and Account fields used as Custom Project Fields (Salesforce Input type) in Loopio.
- View All Records and View All Fields is also required for the Opportunity and Account records that will be linked to Loopio Projects.
- Read permission for “User External Credentials” Object.

Note: If you're using a user with the Minimum Access – API Only Integrations profile for the Loopio connection, ensure that the Salesforce API Integration permission set license is assigned to that user. Additionally, the user must have access to the Opportunity and Account records from which the Loopio project is being created.
Using the Salesforce API Connector
Creating a Loopio Project from Salesforce
- Salesforce Access: a Loopio license is only required to access the Project in Loopio
- Loopio Connector User (Loopio_Connector_User__c) permission set (included in the package)
Viewing Loopio Projects in Salesforce
- Salesforce Access: a Loopio license is only required to access the Project in Loopio
- Read access to the Loopio Project Object
