Following the installation and setup of the Salesforce Connector, you can remove elements of the old Salesforce Integration.
Important: Ensure you have backed up or migrated any data from the old integration prior to removing the package from Salesforce. Data in the Loopio Object fields cannot be recovered after the package is uninstalled.
To clean up the old Salesforce Connector, follow these three steps:
- Remove Assigned Permission Set
- Remove the Button and Related list tile from page layouts
- Uninstall the Loopio Package
Remove Assigned Permission Set
- Click the gear icon in the top right of the navigation ribbon on your Salesforce homepage
- Click Setup
- Search for and open the Permission Sets tab

Open the Loopio User permission set
- Click Manage Assignments
- Select all the users and click Remove Assignment, then click Remove
Remove the Button and Related List Tile From Page Layouts
- Click the gear icon in the top right of the navigation ribbon on your Salesforce homepage
- Click Setup

Search for and select Object Manager
- Using the Quick Find
- If you're using Loopio from an Opportunity, search for and select Opportunity
- If you're using Loopio from an Account, search for and select Account
- If you're using Loopio from an Opportunity, search for and select Opportunity
- From the left navigation bar, select Page Layouts, and select the page layout you would like to remove the Loopio Projects button and/or Related List tile from
- Remove the Create Loopio Project Button and the Loopio (Opportunities) and/or Loopio (Accounts) Related Lists from the layout

Click Save
Tip: Hover over the button and confirm it has the name Loopio__Create_Loopio_Project
Note: If the object has multiple page layouts and you’ve added button and related list in multiple layouts, follow the steps below for each layout where you want to remove button and related list.
Uninstall the Loopio Package
Follow the steps below to uninstall the Loopio package.

Click the gear icon in the top right of the navigation ribbon on your Salesforce homepage

Click Setup. This will open a new tab in your browser
- On the far left in the new tab, search and open Installed Packages.
- Click Uninstall for Loopio package
- Once the uninstallation page opens, navigate to the bottom of the page.
- If you want to retain the records of the old Loopio object for 48 hrs, select the first radio button. Otherwise, select the second radio button, check the last checkbox, and then click the Uninstall button.
- The process may take some time. After that, refresh the page. Once the Del button appears, click it to permanently delete the old Loopio package.
