How Do I Generate an Answer Using SharePoint as a Content Source?

The SharePoint Connector allows you to use your existing SharePoint files as a trusted content source for AI-generated answers in Loopio.

Once connected, Loopio can securely search the text within your Word, PDF, and PowerPoint files in SharePoint and use that content to draft responses, so your answers stay accurate, up to date, and consistent with the documents your team already maintains.

Generate Answers in Bulk Using SharePoint

 

Important: Automated Answers can be run on up to 500 Entries at a time. Automated Answers will only run on unanswered Project Entries. Automated Answers is intended as a first pass at answering your Questions, before you have begun answering them using the other available options.

  1. Click Get Answers at the top of the Project Workspace

  2. Select the Sections in which you want to automate your answers

  3. Click Continue
  4. Select SharePoint as your desired information source and click Continue

  5. (optional) select specific SharePoint locations to use as a source

  6. Select your desired answer Length and Tone, and enter any additional instructions

  7. (optional) Select Save sources and prompt as your default for this project if you want to skip steps 2-7 when getting more Answers in the same Project
  8. Click Get Answers

Once answers have been entered in your Project, you'll see a summary of how many were answered with High Confidence and how many responses need further verification.

You'll also have the option to either:

  • See Entries that have been answered
  • Re-Run Automated Answers with customized settings

Generate a Single Answer Using SharePoint

 

Permissions Required:

  • The Project Permission: Participate in Projects invited to and
  • The Project Permission: Generate & Edit Answers with AI and
  • The Project Permission: Can use SharePoint
    are required to use SharePoint to generate answers

  1. Open the Project Workspace

  2. Navigate to an Entry that has not been answered yet

  3. Click on the arrow beside Get Answers and select Generate with Connectors

  4. Select SharePoint under Content Connectors

  5. Select whether you want to generate answers from All sites/folders or Specific files/folders

    • If Selecting Specific files/folders then choose the files/folders from which you want to generate your answers using the SharePoint file picker and click Select

  6. Select your desired answer Length and Tone, and enter any additional instructions

  7. Click Generate Answer
