How Do I Generate an Answer Using Glean as a Content Source?

The Glean Connector allows you to use your organization's live Glean Knowledge Graph as a trusted content source for AI-generated answers in Loopio.

Once connected, Loopio can query your Glean Knowledge Graph in real time and use that content to draft responses, so your answers stay accurate, up to date, and reflect the current state of your Glean index.

Generate Answers in Bulk Using Glean

 

Important: Automated Answers can be run on up to 500 Entries at a time. Automated Answers will only run on unanswered Project Entries. Automated Answers is intended as a first pass at answering your Questions, before you have begun answering them using the other available options.

 

Permissions Required:

  • The Project Permission: Participate in Projects invited to and
  • The Project Permission: Generate & Edit Answers with AI and
  • The Project Permission: Can use Glean
    are required to use Confluence to generate answers
  1. Click Get Answers at the top of the Project Workspace

  2. Select the Sections in which you want to automate your answers

  3. Click Continue
  4. Select Glean as your desired information source and click Continue

  5. Select your desired answer Length and Tone, and enter any additional instructions

  6. (optional) Select Save sources and prompt as your default for this project if you want to skip steps 2-6 when getting more Answers in the same Project
  7. Click Get Answers
 

Important: Once Glean is selected as a source, all content available to the connecting Admin's Glean account may be queried. Filtering by specific Glean data sources is planned for a future release.

 

Important: For bulk answer generation, questions are sent to Glean one at a time with built-in pacing to respect Glean's query limits. If you've queued a large batch, you may see a brief notice while requests are paced through. This is expected, and answers will continue to generate.

Once answers have been entered in your Project, you'll see a summary of how many were answered with High Confidence and how many responses need further verification.

You'll also have the option to either:

  • See Entries that have been answered
  • Re-Run Automated Answers with customized settings
