When running Magic in a Project, you will see different search options depending on whether you are choosing to answer with content from your Library or from completed Entries in other Projects.

Options When Running Magic Across the Library
Library Location
Filter to specific Stacks, Categories, and Subcategories. Only Library locations that are available in Projects and that you have permission to access will appear in this list.
Tags
Filter using specific Tags. When adding multiple Tags, you will have the option to match:
- All: Returns Library Entries that have all listed tags
- Any: Returns Library Entries that have one or more of the listed tags
- None: Returns Library Entries that have none of the listed tags
Language
If your Library contains content in multiple languages, select which language content should be returned.
Magic Strength
Choose between:
- Show results for all Entries: For every Project Entry, Magic returns the answer that would be the first search result when using the applied filters
- Flexible: Shows results for more entries, with lower accuracy
- Moderate: Shows results for some entries, with higher accuracy
- Strict: Shows results for a few entries, with very high accuracy
- Use exact match instead of Magic Strength: Returns only Answers that contain an exact match to the search term being used
Magic Output
Select which Answer types to return, and how to place them in your Project:
- Answer text: Returns the main full text Answer. Deselect this option if you are answering a questionnaire with only Answer Sets and no space for additional comments.
- Map Answer Set to Project Entry: Uses the Library Entry's Answer Set to answer the Project Entry's Answer Set. Answer sets must be mapped.

Prepend Answer Set to answer text: Returns the Answer Set at the beginning of the main full text Answer. There will be either a period or hyphen connecting the Answer Set and Answer depending on your Site Settings.

Search Within
Select whether Magic should return answers that contain your keywords in the Question, Answer or Tags of the Entry.
Include
Choose whether to include Library Entries that are currently in Review.
Options When Running Magic Across Projects
Project Type
Select from available Project types.
Project Selection
Select whether to search in:
- All Projects: Searches across all Projects you have access to
- Specific Projects: Search for and add Projects by name
- All Projects created in time Range: Select a start and end date and search only Projects created within that date range
Magic Strength
Choose between:
- Show results for all Entries: For every Project Entry, Magic returns the answer that would be the first search result when using the applied filters
- Flexible: Shows results for more entries, with lower accuracy
- Moderate: Shows results for some entries, with higher accuracy
- Strict: Shows results for a few entries, with very high accuracy
- Use exact match instead of Magic Strength: Returns only Answers that contain an exact match to the search term being used
Magic Output
Select which Answer types to return, and how to place them in your Project:
- Answer text: Returns the main Answer from the most relevant Project Entry based on parameters set.

Prepend Answer Set to answer text: Adds the Answer Set as noted in the matched Project Entry before the Project Answer. Depending on your site settings, there will be a period or hyphen connecting the Answer Set and Answer.
