Yes, you can generate answers in a Project from files uploaded directly to your Loopio Document Library.
Generate an Answer Using a Document and Generative AI
When using the Generative AI feature to generate an Answer in a Project, you can select a document as the information source:
- Open the Project Workspace
- Locate an eligible question
Tip: Questions eligible for Generative AI meet following criteria:
- They are not currently in review
- They have not been answered
- They have not been marked as completed
- Click Generate Answer
- In the Generate an Answer popup, under Information Sources, select Loopio Library Documents
- Select the source of the document you want to use:
- To use a document that is already in your Loopio Document Library, click the Search Library Documents button
Note: At this time, only standalone documents in your Document Library can be used as an information source.
- To upload a new document to use, click the Upload Documents button
Tip: When uploading a new document, it will also be added to your Document Library for future use. Supported filetypes are .doc, .docx, .pdf, .ppt and .pptx.
- To use a document that is already in your Loopio Document Library, click the Search Library Documents button
- Once you have selected all the document sources you want to use, select any writing preferences, or add additional instructions

- Click Generate Answer
AI will generate an answer, and you will see a flag indicating that the Answer was Composed with AI.
Bulk Generate Answers Using a Document and Generative AI
In order to use the Generative AI feature to generate up to 20 Answers in a Project using the same document source(s):
- Open the Project Workspace
- Select between one and twenty Entries using the checkbox to the left of the Question
- At the top of your Project, click Generate Answers
- In the Generate an Answer popup, under Information Sources, select Loopio Library Documents
- Select the source of the document you want to use:
- To use a document that is already in your Loopio Document Library, click the Search Library Documents button
