A Freshness Score is a number from 0 - 100 that provides an immediate way for you and your team to see how frequently Library Entries are used and reviewed, helping to prioritize the review of your content.
Viewing a Library Entry's Freshness Score
Every Library Entry is given a Freshness Score that decays over time. Reviewing a Library Entry or using it in a Project increases the score.
When viewing your Library, the Freshness Score will appear on the bottom left corner of each Entry. To access details about a Library Entry's Freshness Score, click on the Freshness Score.
Increasing an Entry's Freshness Score Using Verify Now
Verify a Library Entry’s accuracy directly from the Freshness Score pane by clicking on the score, then clicking Verify Now. This acts as a Review of the Library Entry, increases the score, and lets your team know that the content is ready for use.
Sorting by Freshness Score to Clean Up Your Library:
When it’s time to remove or edit out of date content from your Library, you can sort your content by Freshness to show Entries with either the highest or lowest scores.
This is a great way to manage content that hasn't been used recently and should be removed from your Library.
Customizing your Library Cycle
Administrators can adjust how fast Freshness Scores will drop by changing the Overall Library Cycle.
This is accessible on the Admin > Site Settings page. The shorter the cycle, the faster your Library Entries will drop in Freshness.
Review Cycles that have already been set for a Category or Subcategory will take precedence over Overall Library Cycle, establishing the specific decay rate for their respective Category’s Freshness Score.
