Overview
You can use the Loopio Copilot Agent to create new Library Entries without opening Loopio. This lets you capture new knowledge in the moment, while it's fresh, and make it available to your team right away.
When to Create Library Entries
- During or right after a customer call, where a subject matter expert provides a strong, reusable answer
- When you spot a great explanation in a Teams thread that should live in Loopio
- When Sales or SMEs want to contribute content but don't want to switch away from Teams or M365
How to Create a Library Entry
- Ask the Agent to create a new Library Entry, for example:
- "Create a new Library Entry."
- "Let's create a Library Entry from this answer."
- The Agent will display a form asking for:
- Question
- Answer
- Location (Stack)
- Fill in the fields with the content you want to save
- Submit the form
- The Agent confirms that the Entry has been created in your Loopio Library
What Happens After You Create an Entry
Once submitted, the new Library Entry:
- Is available in Loopio to all users who have access to that Stack
- Can go through your organization's usual Library review and approval workflows, if configured in Loopio

Best Practices
- Capture while it's fresh: Create the Entry immediately after new information has been shared, so the details are accurate and complete
- Use clear questions: Phrase the Question the way a future user would search for it in Loopio
- Keep answers reusable: Avoid customer-specific details unless the Entry is intentionally narrow in scope
Platform Limitations
Mobile (iOS and Android)
- The Create Library Entry form is not currently functional in Microsoft Teams mobile apps
- Searching the Library and asking Help Center questions may still work on mobile, but Entry creation requires the Teams desktop or web app
macOS Copilot App
- The Loopio Copilot Agent is not compatible with the consumer-only Copilot app for macOS
- Use web-based M365 Copilot or standard Microsoft 365 desktop apps instead
