Admins, Project Admins or Project Participants are able to search through completed Entries in other Projects to find content that has been created but that has not made it back to the Library or that may have not been considered ‘highly reusable’. This allows the ability to quickly find previously crafted non-library content in your projects.
How Does This Benefit You?
There are many benefits in being able to search your Projects, but the most notable ones are:
- Easily access the content that has already been created and reviewed
- Save time by reducing the amount of work needed to recreate the content
- Leverage existing content that you might be missing out on
What Permissions Are Required To Search Projects?
Within each Role, there is a "Project Search" permission setting available for the Search Past Projects feature that will need to be enabled to search past projects. For Additional Permissions, other project settings will also need to be enabled as follows:
- Users with the "Participate in Projects invited to" can search past projects they were a participant in.
- Users with the "Manage All Projects" permission can search for all past projects.
Customers who do not want to leverage this feature may disable the "Project Search" permission for user groups.
