Customers using our existing Public Websites Connector (v1) should upgrade to v2, which pre-indexes your configured websites on a weekly schedule for near-instant answers, and makes website content a first-class source in Automated Answers alongside your Q&A Library and other connectors.
How to Upgrade to v2
Important: Both v1 and v2 can run at the same time, but this isn't recommended, since the two versions use different retrieval models and can produce inconsistent results for the same question. If you do not see the Public Websites option under the heading Content Connectors on your Admin Integrations screen, or if your team requires additional information before proceeding with setup, reach out to our Customer Success Team or Support Team for assistance.

Set up v2: How Do I Set Up the Public Websites Connector v2?
- Add up to 10 URLs and allow the initial crawl to complete (up to 500 pages per URL). Monitor crawl status under Admin > Integrations > Public Websites.

Test v2: How Do I Generate an Answer Using a Public Website as a Content Source?
- Run Automated Answers on a sample project and validate the results

Disable v1:
- In Loopio, click Admin in the top navigation
- Select Platform Settings
- Click Integrations
- Scroll to Public Websites (v1 - above the Content Connectors heading) and click Disable

Go live:
- Once you're satisfied with your test results, v2 becomes your active Public Websites Connector
