How to Attach Files from Seismic to Loopio Project Entries
Users with access to Seismic can choose files from the following folders:
- The DocCenter
- Their own Workspace
- The Library
To attach files from Seismic:
- Navigate to an entry in your Loopio Project
- Click on Add Attachment
- Select the Seismic option from the drop down
Note: After clicking the Seismic option, users will need to authenticate/sign in to Seismic to be able to access the various content profiles
- When the Attachment window opens, select the location that you're wanting to select your file from.
Note: Only Seismic Premium Users who have access to the Seismic Library can access the Library folder. Contextual Workspaces, when enabled, can be found under the Workspace folder.
- Once you've selected a file, click Import
- When the attachment window closes and you are returned to the project workspace, click on the “Show X attachments” link to see the file you have just attached
- Confirm that your Seismic file has been attached to your Project Entry
How to Attach Files from Seismic to Loopio Library Entries
- Navigate to the Library screen, and click Create New Entry, or select the Edit Entry option for the existing Library Entry to which you would like to add an Attachment
- Below the Answer field, click the plus sign (+) beside Attachments
- Select Upload from Seismic
- When the Attachment window opens, select the location that you want to select your file from

- Once you've selected a file, click Import
- The Attachment will now be visible on the Library Entry
Attaching DOCX Files Inline
The content from DOCX files can be added to an answer inline using the Loopio Magnet Attachment feature. Magnet Attachments gives you the ability to edit the content in your Attachments after your Project has been exported.
Note: Only .docx files can be used as a Magnet Attachment. For more information, you can read: What Is a Magnet Attachment?
To Attach DOCX Files from Seismic Inline in a Project Entry
- Attach a DOCX file to an answer and view the attachment following the steps above
- Hover over the attachment and click the magnet icon
- The content from the DOCX file will be added inline to your answer when the Loopio project is exported, indicated by the blue magnet attachment icon
To Attach DOCX Files from Seismic Inline in a Library Entry
- Attach a DOCX file to an answer and view the attachment following the steps above
- Hover over the attachment and click the magnet icon
- The content from the DOCX file will be added inline to your answer when the Entry is used in a Loopio Project and exported, indicated by the blue magnet attachment icon
