Yes, the way you assign permissions to Loopio Roles has been evolving! Our advanced Granular Permissions framework offers more customizability so admins can create more relevant roles.
What's Changing?
In the past, roles/permissions were established exclusively based on levels. Each level contained a pre-set configuration of permissions. For example, the General Admin permissions ranged from Level 0 to Level 2, and included permissions ranging from managing content styles to managing users.
With Granular Permissions, each level will be decoupled, allowing admins to build roles with the exact permissions that your users need.
When Will I See This Change in My Loopio Account?
Last year, we launched Granular Permissions for General Admin. Starting April 22, 2025, a phased rollout will launch Granular Permissions across Project and Library.
Will I Need to Update My Existing Roles?
No, existing permissions will be automatically mapped into the new framework. There will be no impact to the access of your existing Loopio users.
