What happened to Library Duplicates?
Library Cleanup replaces Library Duplicates. It finds duplicates as well as conflicting and stale content, compares answers as well as questions, groups related duplicates into one issue, and recommends a fix for each issue.
Will the Librarian Agent change my Library without asking?
No. The agent recommends fixes, but nothing changes until you review a summary of the changes and confirm.
Can I undo a change?
Before you confirm, you can back out of any proposed change. After a change is applied, you can restore an updated entry to its previous version from Entry History. Entries that were deleted, including the extra entries removed in a merge, can't be restored.
Why was this entry flagged?
Open the issue. The agent explains why it flagged the entry and why it recommends its fix.
The agent flagged something that isn't a problem. What should I do?
Use Not a duplicate or Not a conflict to remove an entry from an issue, or dismiss the issue. Choose Stop flagging this if the content won't go out of date, or Check again later if it should be reviewed again in the future.
Can I run a scan of my whole Library?
You don't need to. Entries are checked automatically when they're created, edited or deleted, and a daily check looks for stale content.
Can I change what counts as a duplicate, conflict or stale entry?
Not yet. For now, Loopio sets these definitions so issues are flagged consistently. We're exploring ways for teams to tailor Library Cleanup to how they work, and more settings will be available in the near future.
Does Library Cleanup compare content across stacks or Business Units?
No. Entries are compared only with other entries in the same stack and Business Unit.
Are my projects checked?
Completed projects (Past Projects) are checked for conflicts with your Library. Past Project content is never edited or deleted. Projects marked confidential and projects still in progress aren't checked.
Can a conflict include more than two entries?
Each conflict compares two entries. If several entries disagree, they appear as separate conflicts.
Does the agent rewrite stale content?
No. The agent explains why the entry was flagged, and you decide what to change.
Why wasn't an entry flagged as stale?
An entry is flagged as stale only when it's past its review date and contains a statement that has likely gone out of date. Being overdue for review on its own doesn't flag an entry, and historical facts, such as a founding date, are never flagged.
Why don't I see an issue my colleague can see?
You only see issues for stacks you have access to. SMEs with the "Resolve assigned issues only" permission see only issues assigned to them.
Where can I use the Librarian panel?
On the Library Cleanup dashboard and on each issue page.
Does the agent remember earlier conversations?
No. The agent remembers only the current conversation on the current page.
I see "Library scan in progress". What does that mean?
Loopio is scanning your Library for the first time. Issues appear on the dashboard when the scan finishes.
I opened a link to an issue and see an error. Why?
The issue may have been resolved or dismissed, or you may no longer have access to it.
