How Can I Search the Library From Microsoft Teams?

Anyone who has access to the Loopio Library will be able to search the Loopio Library from MS Teams and share Library Entries within a team or chat.

The results returned to you will be based on your access permissions in the Loopio Library, so you will only see results from Library locations that you have access to in Loopio. All members of your MS Teams workspace will be able to view Library Entries shared in Teams, making it easy to find and share information with your whole Organization!

To Search the Loopio Library from Microsoft Teams

 

Permissions Required: Library, Level 1 (Read Only) permissions are required to search the Loopio Library from MS Teams. This includes Library Users. Read more: Library Users.

  1. In a channel or chat, click the Messaging extensions (⋯) icon and select Loopio

  2. Enter a search term. You will see a preview of up to 10 results from your Loopio Library

To Share a Library Entry in Microsoft Teams

 

Note: Results shared in MS Teams are limited to text and won’t include any images, attachments, or tables.

  1. Follow the above steps to search for a Library Entry, within the team or chat where you want to share the Entry
  2. From the results preview, select the Entry you want to share. Once you do so, the results will appear within your message field

  3. Click Send
