Loopio takes strong measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your information. Security is considered to be a shared responsibility and we ask that all of our Users are aware of, understand, and follow the guidelines outlined below to maintain the security of your Loopio account.
Passwords
Passwords SHOULD
- Be a minimum of 8 characters (the longer and more complex your password, the less likely it will be compromised)
Passwords SHOULD NOT
-
Be written down on any medium. If a password is obtained by another person, the security of your account can be compromised.
-
Reflect any personal aspect of the User (for example, your name, job title, significant other’s name, etc.)
-
Contain a common word that might be found in a dictionary. Password-guessing algorithms often scan one or more dictionaries.
By default, all passwords set within Loopio must have a minimum of 8 characters. You are able to configure your password settings to require additional minimal acceptable settings for your account. Please reach out to support@loopio.com for more information.
Account Access
It is the User’s responsibility (specifically, Users with Administrative access in Loopio) to disable access to Loopio for anyone who leaves your company or organization, or for anyone who should no longer have access to Loopio
A Single Sign-On (SSO) login configuration can be helpful for managing this process, as any employees disabled from your central system will also be unable to sign into Loopio. Contact our Customer Success Team or our Support Team if you are interested in setting up SSO for your account.
Subscription Required: Single Sign-on (SSO) with SAML 2.0 or Google Authentication isn't available on all subscription plans. Contact our Support Team to learn more.
User Permissions
It is the User’s responsibility (specifically, Users with Administrative access in Loopio) to ensure that the correct User permissions are set up so that certain Users do not have visibility or improper access (e.g., write access) to content in your Library or Projects in Loopio.
