Yes, Loopio allows you to create Projects that are only visible to specific Users who have been invited to the Project. This allows you to work on your most sensitive Projects in Loopio while knowing that access to the confidential information in these Projects is visible only to Users who have been directly added as Project Participants.
Learn more: Check out our Confidential Projects video in the Learning Station (a Loopio login is required to access this link)
Subscription Required: The ability to create Confidential Projects is available for select subscription plans only. For select customers, this update will take effect at a later date. Contact our Customer Success Team or our Support Team to learn more: Send an email to Support
What is the Difference Between Confidential Projects and Standard Projects?
Who Can Access Standard Projects vs. Confidential Projects?
Confidential Projects
Note: Project information and metadata are visible (and accessible) throughout the Loopio platform. Details such as Project Name, Project Owner, Due Date, and Project Type will be visible to users with appropriate permissions to view all Projects.
- By setting a Project as Confidential, only Users who have been directly invited to that Project will be able to access it. Users who have not been added as a Project Participant, or whose access has been removed, will see a message indicating they do not have access to the Project
- When a Loopio Admin or a User with Projects Level 3 (Full Access) Permissions is added to a Confidential Project as a Participant, they can be added with any of the three available access levels. Learn more about Project-Specific Permissions
- When a Loopio Admin or a User with Projects Level 3 (Full Access) Permissions is added to a Confidential Project by assigning them a Project Review, they will be added as a Project Collaborator. Learn more about Project-Specific Permissions
Standard Projects
- Loopio Admins and Users with Projects Level 3 (Full Access) Permissions can access all Standard Projects within an instance, even Projects they have not been directly invited to
- When a Loopio Admin or a User with Projects Level 3 (Full Access) Permissions is added to a Standard Project as a Participant, that User automatically receives Project Admin permissions. Learn more about Project-Specific Permissions
- When a Loopio Admin or a User with Projects Level 3 (Full Access) Permissions is added to a Confidential Project by assigning them a Project Review, they will be added as a Project Admin. Learn more about Project-Specific Permissions
